There’s nothing better in is world than a beautiful sunset. The hues of red, pink, orange and purple that illuminate the sky as the sun starts its descent and starts to fall down below the horizon. It is a moment to sit and stare, to contemplate the world and hold the person you love a little closer. It is one of my favourite things about travelling, because literally wherever you are, a great sunset will make the world look beautiful, even if it is just for a short half an hour. So instead of waffling away talking about the great things you can see and do when you travel, I thought I’d just share with you the most amazing sunsets I have ever recorded and tell you where you can find them.
Raja Ampat, Papua: Night after night of beautiful sunsets, but this was the best. Click the link to read my in depth travel guide to Raja Ampat, Papua
Malecón Grau, Peru: Beautiful view over the bay.
Ica, Peru: The way the colours played through the clouds reminded me of an oil painting.
Raja Ampat: A boat silhouetted against the setting sun.
Punta Del Diablo, Uruguay: This photo always reminded me of the Wild West in the movies
Huanchaco, Peru: Another photo from Peru and another beautiful sunset
Tulamben, Bali: After a good days diving
Banten, Indonesia: The sun setting while the tide comes in
Seminyak Beach, Bali, Indonesia: Not the classic sunset photo, but still special
They are all so different, I am a big fan of sunsets. My favorite so far was Dubrovnik Croatia. There is something about that one looking over the Adriatic. I really like your list though, for me it is a tough call between Peru or Bali.
Would love to see the photo if you have one.
Wow, stunning images 🙂
Thanks 🙂
