Gibson Brands Inc. is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year and as a part of this occasion has decided to offer a visual treat to avid music lovers. ‘Gibson through the lens’ is a highly acclaimed photo exhibition of never seen before images of the ‘Gods of Guitar’. This event has been successful in countries such as Tokyo, Shanghai, London, Berlin, Los Angeles and Sydney. The proclaimed event has made its debut in India in collaboration with Vivanta by Taj hotels, the event will be hosted in 5 cities, starting off with Mumbai and moving on to Vivanta cities –Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Gurgaon.

The archive is curated by music photography collector Dave Brolan and the exhibition comprises of over sixty images signed by the photographers of unparalleled guitar heroes and rock icons like Noel Gallagher, Jack White, Jon Bon Jovi, Lenny Kravitz, Dave Grohl, Slash, Pete Townsend, Sir Paul McCartney, Wes Montgomery, Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Les Paul, Jeff Beck, B.B King, John Fogerty, Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Angus Young, Keith Richards, Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix to name a few.
