Breakfast for me is one of the most important meals in the day and it is also one of the best things about travelling. Everywhere you go you are treated with a different meal to start the day. To celebrate the best meal of the day I’ve picked my four favourite breakfasts from around the world.

Holiday Inn Breakfast

English Breakfast
For me a full English breakfast has to have beans, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, sausages and a cup of tea. There is simply nothing as good as a full English breakfast.

Ceviche breakfast

Peruvian Breakfast
Spicy fresh raw fish in a sharp lemon sauce is not for everyone. For my however, there is simply nothing as tasty as a Peruvian Ceviche to start the day. In fact just talking about it is making my mouth water.

foul moudamas breakfast

Egyptian Breakfast
I have a confession to make. I have never been to Egypt, but for three years while I was at university I would religiously start my day with a Foul Moudamas. This creamy dish made from refried fava beans, garlic, lemon, chickpeas, egg and feta cheese is simply unbeatable.

Turkish Breakfast

Turkish Breakfast
Eggs, tomato, spicy meat, olives and great cheese, individually it doesn’t sound like much, but combined they make a great start to the day. You can finish the whole thing off with a nice cup of coffee or alternatively start with a cup of tea. It’s down to you.
